Summary
Maria Sol Pérez Aguirreburualde, DVM Ph.D., is an International Research Development Program Leader and Deputy Director at the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She received her DVM (2009) and, subsequently, her Ph.D. (2014) in animal virology and vaccine development from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Buenos Aires. She has taught veterinary courses for more than ten years, both in-person and in online environments. Pérez’s research interests focus on understanding the role of technological advances as interventions to improve animal health and food safety programs implementation and management in resource-constrained settings.
